03 NEW HOME

We took over this bigger project once the plans had been approved in council. The original architect had emigrated. We made some changes to the space planning and scaled down the building by making the top floor more translucent and light weight. The beauty in this house lies in the attention to detail. We used upcycled wood and bricks from the original home that had been demolished. The services and reticulation on this project were complex, but the brief was to make them user friendly and invisible. Again we chose natural and raw materials like off shuitter concrete juxtaposed against upcycled wood
