When our client first showed us this property, we were excited to meet the challenge of fitting the large accommodation brief on a small site. We chose an l-shaped plan to maximise the outside living and garden space. This house is an elegant combination of off shutter concrete, bagged brickwork, granite and timber. One enters the house on a bridge that floats over indigenous landscaping. As with all our projects, every aspect of this house is purpose designed. The house captures the many views it offers in different ways depending on the privacy the space utilised requires. There are smaller apertures that frame mountain views and larger panes of glass looking on to city and sea. Again, this was a very economical project due to clever use of space and materials.
